Light that works. Every time you flick the switch.
Pendants that hang dead level. Downlights that don't flicker at 9pm. A ceiling fan that starts on the first pull. Voltaas are registered electricians, and the finish matters to us as much as the wiring behind it.

02Circuits
Every circuit runs back to one place.
Behind finished walls, every light, fan and power point is a run of cable heading home to the switchboard. We plan those runs properly — correct cable size, protected, clipped, and recorded — so nobody has to guess later.
03Switchboard
Where every circuit answers to us.
Breaker keeps tripping? Half the house dark? We trace it back to the board, find the fault properly, and leave you with a labelled, RCD-protected switchboard instead of a guess.
04Outdoors
From the switchboard to the swing set.
Deck and step lighting, pool and spa supply, garden bollards, sensor floods, the pergola, the EV charger on the drive — all on protected circuits that survive a Kiwi winter.
05Connected
Ready to power up your project?
It starts at the substation, runs the length of the street, and turns in at every property — yours included. We look after the last part of that journey: from the point of supply to every socket, light and appliance in the house.
Every electrician is EWRB registered. Licence numbers on request, public liability cover on every job.

FAQ
Good questions.
Can't see yours? Call us — we're happy to talk it through before you book.
Are your electricians registered?
Yes. Every Voltaas electrician is registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) and holds a current practising licence. We're happy to show licence numbers on request.
Will I get a Certificate of Compliance?
Yes. Every piece of prescribed electrical work is certified, and you receive the Certificate of Compliance (CoC) when the job is finished.
How quickly can you get here?
Most metro jobs can be booked same day or next day. For emergencies — no power, burning smells, sparking — we run a 24/7 callout service.
Do you give fixed quotes?
For planned work like rewires, switchboards, lighting upgrades and EV chargers, yes — a written fixed price before we start. Callouts and fault finding are charged at a clear hourly rate, agreed up front.
My breaker keeps tripping. Is that dangerous?
A tripping breaker or RCD is a safety device doing its job — it's telling you something is wrong. Unplug what you can, don't keep resetting it, and call us. Repeated tripping often points to a damaged cable or a faulty appliance.
Can you install an EV charger at my house?
Yes. We check your switchboard and supply capacity first, then install a dedicated circuit and wall charger, and set up smart charging if your charger supports it.
